Meet Ralph

For writing we had to create an imagine in the readers head about a character. For the create task we had to write some sentences about a made up character and had to decide if it is a negative or a positive relationship. Here's mine about a kid named Ralph.

Ralph is very naughty. He doesn’t care about anyone or anything that isn't himself. When his Mum asks him to do things he always replies with. “Meh.” Ralph is very rich and flexes it alot. He makes fun of people that aren't as rich as him. One day when he was rolling around on his electric chair he stumbled upon a weird box. It said do not OPEN. But because of how nosey Ralph is he opened it. Inside was a ring, the ring magically transformed on to his finger. Then he turned into a monster.

Narrative writing.

This week for writing we had to do narrative writing. We got a template for a plan. For the plan we had to say if it is negative or positive. Then we had to start writing I am not finished my story yet but I will show you by Plan and my first Paragraph. Here is my plan.

“Dom HURRY UP!” Yelled Owen.

“ I’ll be there when I’m there!” Aggressive replied Dom.  

Stella was packing all the bags in the car. They were going to their Nana's house. But the 3 kids Dom, Owen and Stella were taking the Bus there. Their parents were going to drop them off. When they got to the Bus station they could see the dark gloomy clouds looking over them. It looks terrifying. 

“ Do you have everything?” Mum asked for the a millionth time. 

“YES.” The 3 kids moaned.

Reading tasks

This week for reading we had to choose 3 books and then do tasks about them. The task were fun and creative. There was different types of tasks. Today I'm going to show you all 3 of mine. Here is the first 1, the book I chose was called we found a hat. It is about 2 Turtles that found 1 hat. I did a Quiz, I know you might not have read the book but yeah.

What colour was the hat?  

What animals found the hat? 

 What was part 1 called? 

 Which animal put the hat on first? (The left one or the right one.) 

 Why did they leave the hat behind? 

 What did they look at after they left the hat? 

 Why did he want to take the hat? 

 Why did one of the Turtles say “nothing” when the other asked him what he was thinking about? 

 Why did one Turtle ask the other one if he was asleep? 

 What made him change his mind about taking the hat?

For my second task the book I chose was 100 facts about flight/planes. I did a A-Z of it. Here it is

The 5 senses.

Hi and Welcome back, 

This week for writing my goal was to visualise using all of the senses, and talk about how this enriches meaning. We looked at the 5 senses and how we can use them to create a picture in our mind. We chose 1 out of 3 books and had to use the first chapter to find 3 senses. Then we had to get the meaning of the sentence. Here is mine hope you enjoy.

Scatter Graph.

                                                                                Welcome back,                                                          This week for Math my goal was to Collect and display data on a scatter graph / Talk about distinctive features of scatter graphs. We basically found out what a scatter graph is, how to tell if it is a positive trend or a negative trend and how to make a scatter graph. So that's was what the create task was. Make a scatter graph using data you found out or made up and turn it into a scatter graph. For those who don't know what a scatter graph is just go to this link.
